SCHIEDEL, Jennie Grace
Of Kalamazoo Went to be with her Lord, Monday afternoon, August 12, 2013 at her residence. Jennie was born March 11, 1934 in Kalamazoo the daughter of William and Anna Yonkman Napp. She was a member of Centerpoint Church and worked for 39 years in food service with Plainwell Schools. Jennie enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, and most of all, helping others. On March 21, 1952 she was united in marriage to her loving husband of 61 years, Robert Schiedel who survives. Also surviving are her children, Robert Teri Schiedel of Plainwell, Kathy Albert Schiffer of Ovid, MI, Mary Bob Ward of Dorr, MI; 8 grandchildren, Matthew, Angela, Nikki, Anna, Dan, Kevin, Sean, and Hillary; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; sister and brother, Anna VanDenBerg, Rev. William Jan Napp; and several nieces, nephews and in-laws. Jennie has returned to the one who formed her out of the dust of the earth, now surrounded by her Lord; parents; son, Daniel; brothers, John and Garret; sister, Wilma; and nephew, Terry, and now has freedom and peace as she sees the Lord face to face in all His glory. Services will be held at 11:00am Friday at Centerpoint Church, 2345 N. 10th Street. Friends may meet the family Thursday from 4-8pm at Centerpoint church. Interment will be Friday at 2:00 in West Cooper Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Wings of Hope Hospice or West Michigan House of Hope.
