Ann Arbor, MI Passed away October 13, 2008 at her residence in Ann Arbor. Jennie was born September 20, 1912 in Kalamazoo, MI, the daughter of Fenno and Dina Blink DeVries. She was preceded in death by her husband George in 2001 and by 2 sisters, Henrietta DeVries and Dorothy Bull. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law Douglas and Lee McCrumb of Ann Arbor; a granddaughter Stacey and husband Terry Lewis; 3 great-grandchildren, Alexandria, Brianna and Caleb; a sister Betty Nicol of Portage and a brother Engbert DeVries of Harbert, MI. Visitation will be on Thursday evening from 5-8 pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. with a prayer service at 7:00 pm with the Rev. Dr. Charles Cohagen officiating. Private family committal on Friday at Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. The family suggests that memorial contributions in Jennie's memory be made to Angela Hospice, 14100 Newburgh Rd., Livonia, MI 48154.
