Otsego, MI Died Saturday morning, October 23, 2010, at his residence. James was born August 13, 1954 in New Port, Arkansas, a son of James C. and Frances Wadley Moore. During the Vietnam War, he served with the U.S. Army. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of his life and was employed with the James River Corporation for 15 years. Jim was also a member of the Kalamazoo Moose Lodge and a member of the coin club. Jim loved to fish, cook, go to garage sales and work the flea markets. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Jean Holliday. James in survived by 2 children, James Lola Burnett of Comstock and Amber Harris-Moore of Kalamazoo; 2 grandchildren, Jimmy and Chelsey Burnett; his fiancé, Teri Brady of Otsego; his former wife, Tina Moore of Kalamazoo; 2 sisters, Sharon Rouch of Kalamazoo and Shirley Hill of Dowagiac; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held 11 o'clock Thursday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
