Kalamazoo Loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Jackie passed away Friday, October 5, 2007. She was born August 21, 1926 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Harold and Evelyn Clark Meyers and had been a lifelong resident of the Kalamazoo area. Jackie made a wonderful home for her family. She loved to sew, crochet and was the best pie maker. She had an artistic flair and whatever she would put her mind to, she could do it. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. On November 7, 1942 Jacqueline married Charles E. Williams, Sr., who survives. Also surviving are her children, Charles E. Williams, Jr. of Scotts, Carolyn Fred Schmid of Greenwood, IN and Linda Venema of Glendale, AZ; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; a brother, Dale Meyers of CO; a sister, Joyce Evink of Otsego; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Timothy Lee Williams, and two brothers, Truman and Leonard Meyers. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday in the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St. with Pastor Jerry Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
