Portage, MI Died Friday afternoon April 8, 2011. Jack was born July 26, 1923 in Grand Rapids, Michigan a son of Elmer and Ruby McEwen Bulson. During WW II, he served with the U.S. Marines. Jack had been a Kalamazoo area resident for many years and was employed with Allstate Insurance for 30 years before retiring. He was also a member of the Elks Club #50. Jack was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Lois Bulson; a son, James Bulson; a daughter, Jacqueline Stewart; and brother, Carl Bulson. In November of 1968, he was united in marriage to Mary J. Verderber Bulson who survives. Also surviving, 2 children, Sharon Dean MacLagan Smith of Portage and Steven Kelley Moody Bulson of Battle Creek; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Private services and burial will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the Upjohn Nursing Home.
