Kalamazoo, MI Died Sunday morning June 24, 2007. Howard was born July 1, 1918 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a son of Otis and Ola Gildea Gage. During WWII, he served with the U.S. Army Air Corp. He had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with Associate Mechanical Services for 35 years before retiring. He attended Lake Center Bible Church and was a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association and the U.A. Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local #357. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Bonnie Ickes. On July 13, 1940, he was united in marriage to Lillian M. Pierce Gage who survives. Also surviving, a son, Keith Saundra Gage of Schoolcraft; 3 grandchildren; Debbie, Bryan, and Patrick; 4 great-grandchildren, Amber, Devon, Nathan, and Morgan; and a sister, Betty Meyle. Private graveside services will be held in Hope Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Michigan Heart Fund or the Lake Center Bible Church.
