Formerly of Portage Passed away on May 17, 2008 in Bradenton, FL. Henrietta was born May 25, 1923 in Kalamazoo, MI, the daughter of John and Fanny Vlieg Stryker and had lived in Imlay City, MI then Portage, MI since 1965 until moving to her daughter's residence in Bradenton, FL. She loved to paint and write letters to friends and family. Henrietta was preceded in death by her husband Peter in 2005 and by several brothers and sisters. Surviving are 3 daughters and 1 son, Barbara Maynard "Mike" Berg of Bradenton, FL, Bonnie Gregory Bonnema of Spring Lake, MI, Edwin Bloemsma of Bradenton, FL and Brenda Louis Germay of Texas Township, MI; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; a sister Ann Cramer of Kalamazoo; several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 1:00 o'clock Friday at the Prairie Edge Christian Reformed Church, 9316 Oakland Dr. with the Rev. Philip Kok officiating. Friends may meet the family for visitation on Friday beginning at 11:00 am until service time. A luncheon will be held after the service with interment to follow at Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery.
