Of Kalamazoo Passed away Thursday morning, September 17, 2009, at the Rose Arbor Hospice Residence. Fred was born December 6, 1943 in Louisville, OH, the son of Glen and Esther Zumkehr Krabill. Fred earned his BS from Ohio State University and his Masters from the University of Wisconsin. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army from 1969-1975. Fred served as a volunteer with the Peace Corps in Santa Cruz, Bolivia from 1965-1967. Prior to his retirement in 2004 he was employed with Pfizer, formerly the Upjohn Company and Pharmacia for 26 years. Fred enjoyed photography, gardening, traveling, reading, and was an avid hosta plant collector. On July 20, 1968 he was united in marriage to his loving wife Irene who survives. Also surviving are 2 brothers, Lyle Margaret Krabill, Lee Krabill; several nieces and nephews; and several dear brothers- and sisters-in law. In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or services. Arrangements by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S.
