Of Comstock Passed away Sunday evening, October 24, 2010. Frances was born August 23, 1937 in Kalamazoo to the late Frank and Dorothy Ballou Molenaar. She attended the Kalamazoo Missionary Church. Frances loved the Lord and her family. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends; and doing activities at Comstock Towers where she lived. On September 3, 1960 she was united in marriage to her loving husband, Donald Walker, who preceded her in death on August 24, 2005. She was also preceded in death by a son, David Walker. Surviving are 3 sons, James Rhonda Young of Indiana, Maurice Pat Young, William Carol Walker all of Kalamazoo; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Betty Molenaar Cleland, Anna Marie Molenaar Frank Barnard; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 1:00 o'clock Thursday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel, 6121 King Highway with Pastor Ken Smeader officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Comstock. Friends may meet the family Wednesday from 3-6pm at the Comstock Chapel. Memorials may be directed to the Kalamazoo Missionary Church or the West Michigan Cancer Center. www.langelands.com
