Fanny Groendyk

GROENDYK, Fanny "Bonnie"
of Kalamazoo Passed away March 3, 2012 in Kalamazoo. Bonnie was born April 16, 1927 in Kalamazoo to the late John and Fern Oosterhouse Vos. She was united in marriage to Henry Groendyk on August 16, 1946. Henry preceded her in death in March of 2006. Bonnie was a longtime member of Third Christian Reformed Church. Surviving Bonnie are her children, David Shari Groendyk of Kalamazoo, Phil Joni Groendyk of Kalamazoo and Julie Mike Bolles of Holland, MI; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Also preceding Bonnie in death were 4 brothers and 7 sisters. Services will take place Wednesday, 2:00 o'clock at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St., where family will greet friends from 1-2:00, one hour prior to services. Private interment will take place at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park South. Memorials in Bonnie's name may be directed to Calvin College, Heartland Hospice or to a charity of your choice.
