HARRISON, Evelyn Lucille
Kalamazoo Age 95, Passed away January 4, 2014 at home. She was born to Robert and Ruby Blain on October 13, 1918 in Kalamazoo where she lived her entire life. Evelyn married Ralph Harrison in 1938 and together they raised 6 children, Ronald Joan Harrison, Larry Joyce Harrison,
the late Kenneth Harrison, Jack Harrison, Dale Harrison Connie and Nancy Barton. Also
surviving are nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Evelyn was also preceded in
death by her parents and her husband Ralph who passed away in 2006.
Evelyn was affectionately known as "Grandma Cookie" to her great grandchildren and was
always known for having a sweet and caring disposition. Always loving and non-judgmental,
she will be greatly missed by all.
No services or visitation are planned at this time, although a family gathering will be scheduled
at a later date. The family is suggesting memorial donations to the Kalamazoo Humane Society
or Great Lakes Hospice. Arrangements are being handled by Langeland Family Funeral Homes.
