Kalamazoo, MI Passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at the age of 82. Elsie was born in Warrington, England on September 30, 1932, the daughter of the late Ernest and Minnie Moss Blackmore. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and doing ceramics. She was married to William F. Watson in 1952; he preceded her in death in 1991. She was a loving mom, not only to her children, but to everyone she knew. She is survived by five sons, Robert D. Watson of Vicksburg, Richard E. Carrie Watson of Wyoming, MI, Michael W. Pam Watson of Lake Forest, California, John D. Kathy Watson of Whitmore Lake, MI and Paul A. Misa Watson of Martin; 12 grandchildren, Amy, Robert, Daniel, Amanda Robert, Richard Chelsea, Benjamin Keri, Jason Christine, Jessica Roger, Sara Peter, Jeremy Megan, Stephanie and Jackie; 15 great-grandchildren; and two nephews, James and David Blackmore. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ernest and Sid Blackmore. Friends may visit with the family from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, December 5, 2014 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49009, where the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2014. Pastor Rick Kiekintveld will officiate with interment in Maple Grove Cemetery in Mattawan. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
