Of Portage, MI Died January 26, 2010 at her residence. Eileen was born October 21, 1923 in Winchester, OH, a daughter of Guy and Lyda Edminston Stevenson and had lived in Portage for the past 40 plus years. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob Sheyer in 1999 and by a son James Michael "Mickey" Sheyer and a brother Paul Stevenson. Surviving are a daughter Sheila Maggart of Portage; her loving cat Scotchy, who was her constant companion and always by her side; several nieces and nephews and by the entire Maggart family, who opened their hearts and home to her. Private services were held at Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials in Eileen's memory may be made to Kalamazoo Animal Rescue, P.O.
