Plainwell, Michigan Passed away Friday, August 6, 2010 at his home. Eddie was born June 16, 1930 and had lived in the greater Kalamazoo area for many years. He retired from Checker Motors after 32 years of service. Eddie was preceded in death by his wife, Mary. Surviving are his children, Eddy Lester Mayo, Barbara Richard Tobin, Connie Bobby Raven, Terri Hudson Scott Roebuck, Carrie Terry Bush and Mary Jo Stearns; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery Chapel, with Pastor John Vick, officiating. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family to help with final expenses. Arrangements by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S.
