Of Portage, MI Dorothy passed away early Friday morning, October 9, 2009 at Alamo Nursing Home. She was born February 2, 1918 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Harold and Harriett Force Richmond. Dorothy was employed by The Upjohn Co. for over 30 years until her retirement in 1984. In March 1965, she was united in marriage to Richard Vosser, who preceded her in death on May 6, 2003. Also preceding her in death are her parents, and one sister, Aileen Jochums. Surviving are a niece, Patricia Little of Gobles; two nephews, Scott Heather Fergusson of Lansing, and Jeff Fergusson of Chicago, IL; one great-niece, Lilly Fergusson; and her beloved Beagle, Penny. Graveside services for Dorothy will be at 2:00 PM on Friday at Portage South Cemetery S. Westnedge Ave. at Osterhout Ave. with Rev. James Dyke officiating. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be directed to Kalamazoo Humane Society or American Diabetes Association.
