WITTEVEEN, DIANE
of Portage, Michigan Diane was born January 23, 1947, in Green Castle, Indiana, the daughter of Robert and Marion Stiles Vanderham and went home to be with her Lord on August 23, 2011 in Portage, Michigan. She was a longtime Kalamazoo area resident and had been employed as a Registered Nurse for many years. Diane was a member of Grace Christian Reformed Church and was also a member of PEO. On August 30, 1968, she was united in marriage to Kenneth A. Witteveen who survives. Also surviving are their two children, Jennifer Cory Klemens and Jeremy Amie Witteveen; two special granddaughters, Kadence Lynn and Olivia Marie Witteveen; her father, Robert Vanderham; siblings, David Denny Vanderham, Debra Ray Munson and Drew Star Vanderham; and several nieces and nephews. Diane was preceded in death by her mother in 2009. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 28th from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street. A service to celebrate Diane's life will be held 11:00 AM Monday, August 29th at Grace Christian Reformed Church 1724 Whites Road. The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorials in Diane's memory be directed to Grace Christian Reformed Church Memorial Fund or a charity of your choice.
