ESMAN, Deborah Vangemert
Of Kalamazoo, MI Deb passed away early Thursday morning, April 30, 2009 at her home with her family by her side. She was born November 1, 1956 in Kalamazoo, the only child of John and Viola Eisen Vangemert. On September 17, 1977, she was united in marriage to George Esman. Some of Deb's favorite hobbies included, volunteering at the Kalamazoo Nature Center, Chime Elementary School, gardening, and spending as much time that she could with her children. Surviving are her husband of 31 years, George Esman; their 2 children, John and Shelby Esman; her father, John Vangemert of Kalamazoo; and many other family and friends. Preceding her in death is her mother, Viola Vangemert. Funeral services for Deb will be at 1:00 PM on Monday Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th Street, with visitation from 11-1 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Genesee Prairie Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan or West Michigan Cancer Center.
