Passed away suddenly on Monday, October 27, 2014 at her home. Debbie was born April 10, 1966 in Kalamazoo, MI the daughter of Edwin and Sharon Murray Duenewald. She graduated valedictorian from Mattawan High School in 1984. She was involved in the National Honor Society, concert band and was flag captain of the marching band. In 1991, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Western Michigan University with a linguistics and teaching degree. She studied Spanish, Russian and Latin. She also enjoyed being part of the Western Michigan University Marching band. Through the years, Debbie has worked at Fredrick's of Hollywood, Bob and Kay's Auto wash and then became a consultant of Mary Kay Cosmetics. Debbie was united in marriage with Scott Dennis in Kalamazoo on May 10, 1997. She loved spending time with family and Holidays were especially important to her. Summers growing up included fun weekly camping trips. Debbie's interests included music, movies, playing cards and board games. She has been an avid Osmond fan since childhood, collecting their music and memorabilia. Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Edwin Duenewald, Jr., in 2013, her grandparents, Jack & Betty Murray and Edwin & Mardel Duenewald, Sr. Surviving are her husband, Scott, her mother, Sharon Duenewald and sister, Darcie Richard Bill Wolgamood. An informal gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, November 3, 2014 in the Langland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St. from Noon until 2:00 PM. Please visit
