Of Kalamazoo David passed away Sunday morning, Feb. 14, 2010 with his family by his side. He was born January 26, 1952 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, the son of Junior and Daphine Burrow Ashby. He was employed by Burroughs Manufacturing for 20 years until his retirement in 1992. Surviving are his daughter, Angel Phillip Dooley of Parchment; three grandchildren, Shelby, Courtney, and Garrick Dooley; two sisters, Linda Stratton and Debbie Ashby; one brother, Terry Ashby; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services for David will be at 3:00 PM on Thursday at Mt. Ever-Rest North Cemetery, 1717 N. Drake Road. Friends may visit with the family immediately following graveside services at Kalamazoo Eagles Lodge Aerie 526, 1332 Branch Street.
