Kalamazoo, MI Died Thursday morning July 29, 2010. Connie was born November 23, 1917 in Ringle, Wisconsin a daughter of Frank and Lena VanVuren Fraaza. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident since 1955 and was employed with the Upjohn Company for 27 years, retiring in 1982. Connie was a member of the Second Christian Reformed Church and enjoyed the many church programs: Adult Sunday School, Senior Citizens Bible Study, and the Tie that Binds. She also loved reading, working word searches, and volunteering with many community organizations. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, John and Robert Fraaza; and a sister, Evelyn Barr. Connie is survived by 2 brothers, Del Irene Fraaza of Kalamazoo and Ken Jen Fraaza of Schofield, WI; 2 sisters, Dorothy Goodwin of Ft. Wayne, IN and Ellen Frifeldt of Beaverton, OR; a brother-in-law, Robert Esther Barr of Sebring, FL; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 11 o'clock Monday at the Second Christian Reformed Church, 3015 Nichols Rd. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8pm Sunday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th St. Private interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery.
