of Comstock, MI Passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2013. Age 86. Charlie was born in Linden, Indiana on June 14, 1927, the son of the late Charles Lee Myers Sr. and Ruby Leigh McCormick Myers. He retired from Consumers Energy after 35 years of service. He was an avid University of Michigan football fan and enjoyed golfing, bowling and fishing. He was married to Lois Scott Myers; she preceded him in death in 2000. He is survived by four children, Lucie Marty Moon of Cadillac, Janet Kientz of Kalamazoo, Scott Myers of Zionsville, IN and Lori Pete Gerry of Jackson, MI; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and his girlfriend, Nancy Sheppard. Charlie was preceded in death by his grandson, one brother and one sister. The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at the Community Room at Comstock Tower Apartments, 5285 East H. Avenue, Comstock, MI 49048. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of the donor's choice.
