WELLINGTON, Budd of Kalamazoo Passed away July 24, 2007 at Rose Arbor in Kalamazoo. Budd was born February 16, 1910 in Allegan County, Michigan to the late Oran and Survilla Curtis Wellington. He married Lucile Terpstra on June 23, 1937. She preceded him in death on May 1, 2006. Budd was a family man above all else. He needed nothing more than just being with or around his loved ones, as attested to by his countless breakfast outings with his sons and friends. Surviving him are; children, Darwin Mary Wellington of Portage, Loretta Jim VanEngen of Kalamazoo, Dirk Diane Wellington of PawPaw and Dorothy Ted Weaver of Portage; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Jim Hiscock and Burt TenBrink. He was preceded in death by 3 sisters and 1 brother. Friends may meet the family Thursday, July 26, from 6 ? 8pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street. Funeral Services will take place from Greenwood Reformed Church, 1815 Winton , Kalamazoo, 49001, Friday, July 27th at 11:00am, Pastor Jonathan Loper, officiating. A private family interment will then follow at Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorials in Budd?s name may be sent to Rose Arbor Hospice, 5473 Croyden, Kalamazoo, 49009; Park Village Pines, 2920 Crystal Lane, Oshtemo, 49009; or, Greenwood Reformed Church.
