Bobby Stanciel

STANCIEL, Bobby Kalamazoo Passed away May 28, 2007 at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo. Bobby was born on August 26, 1945 in Grand Rapids. Bobby was united in marriage to Roberta J. Beynon on August 28, 1999 in Kalamazoo. She survives him. Bobby was proud to have served in the Peace Corps for many years. He loved to bowl, go fishing and loved his music, especially jazz. He was also proud to have finished his high school education, graduating in 1994. Surviving him are; children, Danielle Stanciel of Grand Rapids and Robert Stanciel; 4 grandchildren; sister, Linda Hickman; brothers, William Helen Stanciel, Harry Hickman, Steven Hickman and Dwight Hickman; special niece, Denise Stanciel; Aunt, Ann Harbin; Uncle, John Stanciel; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceding him in death was a sister, Brenda Hickman. Visitation will be Thursday, May 31, 2007 from 5 - 8:00pm. at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street, Kalamazoo. Funeral services will take place on Friday, June 1, 2007 10:00a.m., at the Westside Chapel. Interment will immediately follow at Hill cemetery, Oshtemo Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
