LYNN, Mrs. Beverly "Gene"
Portage, Michigan Died Sunday evening February 8, 2009. Gene was born November 28, 1928 in Elk Rapids, Michigan a daughter of Edward and Helen Berg Schuler. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident since 1946 and was a member of the Portage V.F.W. Auxiliary #5855 and Portage Moose Lodge #88. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Lloyd K. Lynn on May 31, 2001. She is survived by 4 children, Janice Joel Modderman of Vicksburg, Nancy Winterburn of St. Louis, MO, Steven "Craig" Lynn of Mattawan, and Valerie Rick Ducharme of Arlington, TX; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Patricia Graf of Traverse City, MI; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 11 o'clock Saturday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. Visitation will be 6-8pm Friday. Interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery.
