Beatrice Corstange

Passed away December 28, 2010. She was born June 1, 1909 in Kalamazoo, MI to the late Frederick and Hattie Stryker Bosker. Beatrice was married to Jacob Corstange on November 7, 1935, who preceded her in death on December 23, 1966. Baptized at the 2nd Christian Reformed Church in 1909, she remained a member until 1965 when she transferred to the Milwood Christian Reformed Church. Her hobbies included reading and playing games. Surviving Beatrice are her children, Ron and Cathie Corstange of Hudsonville, MI and Ken and Marilyn Corstange of Wayland Township, MI; 5 grandchildren, Scott and Laura Corstange, Kimberly and Kevin VanDuyn, Pamela and Darin VanDuyn, Tom Lane and Brian Corstange; 10 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Also preceding Beatrice in death were; granddaughter, Kristin Corstange Lane; 2 sisters; and 5 brothers. Family will greet family and friends on Sunday from 2-5:00 o'clock at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St.. Services will take place on Monday, 1:00 o'clock at Milwood Christian Reformed Church, 3306 Lovers Ln., Kalamazoo where family will also greet family and friends from noon-1:00 o'clock. Private interment will be at Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Milwood Christian Reformed Church or to Gideon's International.
