Kalamazoo, Michigan Died Sunday, October 26, 2008 at Bronson Hospital. She was born February 11, 1933 in Kalamazoo, to the late Howard and Mary Price. She married and is survived by, Theodore "Ted" Newman on January 6, 1967 in Kalamazoo. She and Ted were co-owners of Timberlake Campgrounds in Climax for over 21 years. Also surviving Barbara are her children, Christina Griffith of Oshtemo, Catherine Thomas of Oshtemo, Sherlyn Donald Longjohn of Kalamazoo, James Jody Newman of Kalamazoo, and Mark Newman of Kalamazoo; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Mary Mark Leiker-Aman; nieces, Barbara Greenwood and Suzanne Tidey; nephews, Vern Greenwood and Zachary Aman. Preceding her in death were, her daughter, Kimberley Clary; sister, Phyllis Rhoades, and; brother Vincent Price. Visitation will be Thursday, Oct 30th from 6 - 8:00PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th Street, where services will take place on Friday, 11:00AM, Pastor Tony Fields, officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery Chapel. Condolences may be written, as well as viewed at www.langelands.com . 343-1508
