of Kalamazoo, Michigan Passed away Sunday, March 25, surrounded by her family. Barbara was born October 12, 1946 in Moulton, AL, the daughter of the late William J. and Lucine Martin Louallen and lived in Kalamazoo for many years. She is survived by her husband, Douglas Boyd; her children, Tammy Leonard Turner, John Chapman, Sr. and Rhonda Brooks; a daughter-in-law, Rima Mc Pherson; grandchildren, Tiffany, Tiara, Tamara, Jordan, John, Jr., Deandre, Briana and Jacob; 1 great grandchild, Sable; brothers and sisters, Betty Taylor, Clyde Derine Poe, Linda Lloyd Sirrine and Bill Rhonda Louallen; and an array of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1:00 PM in the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St., with Chaplain Rochelle Habeck, officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Comstock Township. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday beginning at 12:00 Noon until service time.
