of Kalamazoo, Michigan Arlene passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Borgess Medical Center. She was born on August 9, 1941 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of the late Phillip and Mable Cole Rey. She was employed by Borgess Hospital for over 34 years until her retirement. Surviving are her 3 children, Ron Rasler Jr., Rhonda Smith and Chris Rasler; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Phillip and John Rey and sister, Marilyn Knotts. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 5, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St., where friends may visit with the family from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be directed to SPCA of Southwest Michigan, C.S. Mott Children's Hospital at University of Michigan or Wounded Warrior Project.
