Annelise Loeser

Annelise Loeser, age 89, of Mesa, AZ, passed away January 21, 2007. She was born in Germany and moved to Mesa in 1975 from Decatur, MI. Mr. and Mrs. Loeser Lou and Ann, were former owners of Lou-Ann Country Marts located in Dowagiac, Niles and South Bend. Annelise was a volunteer for Banner Health System in Mesa. She devoted 30,204 hours over a period of 25 years of service to what was formerly known as Mesa Lutheran Hospital. The auxiliary fulfilled her desire of giving support and assistance to people in need. She volunteered an average of 30 hours per week. In March 2001 she was recognized for her dedication to Banner Health System. She is survived by her son Ken Corbin of Iowa City, Iowa and her daughter Marjorie Gary Gaynor of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. She is also survived by 2 grandsons, Gregory Stephanie and Mark Gaynor and 2 great-grandsons. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Louis Loeser, who passed away in 1980. Graveside services will take place at the Jewish-Riverside Cemetery in Kalamazoo, on Thursday, January 25, 2007 at 2:00pm., Rabbi Spivak, officiating. Arrangements by Sinai Mortuary of Phoenix, AZ and Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Kalamazoo, Michigan. Contributions in her memory to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014, or Banner Health System, 1010 N. Country Club Dr., Mesa, AZ 85201.
