SIMMONS, Angeline Of Scotts Passed away Monday morning, February 12, 2007 at the Rose Arbor Hospice Residence. Angeline was born February 11, 1918 in Decatur, MI. She was a member of the Scotts United Methodist Church where she was active in the Scotts United Methodist Women?s Group, along with various other activities and groups in the church. She was also very active in 4-H Leadership. On January 25, 1936 she was united in marriage to Warren J. Simmons who preceded her in death in 1986. She was also preceded in death by a son, Lee Simmons; a daughter, Nancy Mleczewski; and several brothers and sisters. Surviving are 2 children, Howard Donita Simmons, Carol Slaughter Jim McGuire; 10 grandchildren, Scott, Laurie, Rick, Julie, Ken, Tim, Todd, Jill, Steve, and Ian; many great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; a brother, Rev. Adrian Newhouse; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 2:00 o?clock Wednesday at the Scotts United Methodist Church, 8458 Wallene St. in Scotts with Rev. Dave Knapp officiating. Interment will follow in Boughton Cemetery. Friends may meet the family Tuesday evening from 6-8pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Galesburg Chapel, 145 W. Battle Creek St., and one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be directed to the Scotts United Methodist Church.
