Passed away, Friday morning August 4, 2017. Bill was born on April 30, 1926 in Cherryville, MO to the late Ernest and Florence Kreamalmeyer. He was one of 11 children. Bill was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was employed for 36 years with the Fuller Transmission/Eaton Corporation. Bill, AKA "The Junkman" enjoyed playing fast pitch softball and was the MVP on the 1968 city championship team in Kalamazoo. He also enjoyed gardening, fishing, and hunting. On June 27, 1947 he was united in marriage to his loving wife of 70 years, Yvonne (Haas), who survives. Also surviving are his children, Neil (Linda) Kreamalmeyer, Vickie Kreamalmeyer; 2 grandchildren, Betsy Wright and Tyler Kreamalmeyer; 3 great-grandchildren, Faith, Jr., and Hope; 3 sisters, Jessie Luntzer, Garnith (Bill) Turnbough, Mary (Bill) Parker; sisters-in-law, Joan Doxey and Kay Haas; and many nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by 7 brothers and sisters; brother-in-law, John Haas; and sister-in-law, Elaine Haas. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, August 8 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre St with Pastor Bill Fernhout officiating. Private interment will be at a later date in Portage South Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Prairie Edge Christian Reformed Church.
