Nancy passed away Tuesday morning, September 5, 2017 in Kalamazoo, MI at the age of 74. She was born on March 30, 1943 in Grandville, MI a daughter of Virgil and Esther (Caudle) Beld. Nancy was a member of Second Reformed Church. She had a passion for classical music and enjoyed working for the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra for 20 years before retiring. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and step-mother, Isla Beld. On February 16, 1989 she married John H. Sage who survives. Also surviving are her daughter, Marti Veld of Kalamazoo; granddaughter, Ajai Rozenthal; sister, Mary (John) Gort of Bailey, MI; brother, Doug (Lynne) Beld of Grandville, MI; sister-in-law, Ann Kent; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 2-5PM on Sunday, September 10th at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street. Services will be held 11:00 Monday morning, September 11th at Second Reformed Church, 2323 Stadium Drive, with Pastor Kevin V. Hart officiating. Private inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra or to First Presbyterian Church - Music Fund.
