Passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at the age of 89. Nancy was born in Holland, MI on October 5, 1927, the daughter of the late Clayton Stratton and Frances M. (Bill) Champs. She attended Western Michigan University, where she received her Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Business Education. She worked as a teacher for Gull Lake High School, retiring in 1990. She was a member of Gull Lake Area Community Church, where she served with the Women's Christian Fellowship. She was a member of the Seedling's Garden Club in Richland and Friends of the Library in Richland. She also enjoyed golf and played in the Gull Lake View Ladies League. She was united in marriage with Norman P. Kellogg and he preceded her in death on May 2, 1991. She is survived by her children, Norman P. (Mary) Kellogg IV of Richland, Scott P. (Elizabeth) Kellogg of Richland and Judith (Steve) Nichols of Portage; grandchildren, Christopher (Robin Boyle) Kellogg, Melissa Kellogg, Colin Kellogg, Anna (Noah) Herron and Alec Nichols; great-grandson, Malachi James Herron. Friends may visit with the family from 2 - 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St., Kalamazoo, MI 49009. A time of sharing will take place at 3 p.m., with a reception to follow. Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Association, Richland Library or Kalamazoo Nature Center.
