Jo Silberman died peacefully on April 5, 2017 in Kalamazoo, MI at the age of 89. Jo is survived by Bob, her beloved husband of 64 years; children Joellen, Marilou (Mark), Lisa (Lance) and Jean (Tom), and 3 grandchildren. Jo was born in Boston, MA on April 3, 1928 to Nelson and Helen (McCarthy) Littlefield, and was a graduate of Emmanuel College, with a major in English Literature. She loved her family, cooking, language, and anything chocolate. A memorial service is scheduled for Tuesday, April 18 at 10 am in the Kiva at Friendship Village Kalamazoo. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Employee Assistance Fund at Friendship Village Kalamazoo.
