Passed away Sunday morning, March 26, 2017 at his home. Linn was born June 10, 1929 in Kalamazoo the son of Lloyd and Camilla (Hulbert) Glidden. He worked for many years with Clarage Fan and retired from the Kalamazoo Public Schools where he worked for several years as a custodian. He was a member of Lakeland Reformed Church. Linn was known for his wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed woodworking, and gardening. Linn also enjoyed spending time on Pickerel Lake and fishing. He delivered honey for his brother-in-law, and was an assistant Cub Scout Master and Webelos leader. On February 17, 1951 he was united in marriage to his loving wife Betty, who preceded him in death on April 20, 2009. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Alice; a brother Bob and two great granddaughters; Hope and Charity. He is survived by children, Dennis (Carolyn) Glidden, Karen Howard (Kevin Nyhoff), Debra Doggendorf (John Woodard), Chris (Anthony) Richter; 13 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; brothers and sister, Ron Glidden, Lee (Carla) Glidden, Tom (Sandy) Glidden, Wendell Glidden, Elwyn (Diane) Glidden, Dawn (Jack) Grosenbach; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may meet the family Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm and Wednesday from 12:00-2:00 at Lakeland Reformed Church, 10442 Sprinkle. Services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday at the church. Interment will follow in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.
