Dolores A. Vanderlip of Kalamazoo, MI passed peacefully in her sleep and went to heaven on December 12, 2017, at the age of 87. The memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 19, at 2:00 pm at Westwood Christian Reformed Church, 620 Northampton Road, with Pastor Mike Koekje officiating. The family will receive guests one hour prior to the service and during the time of fellowship following the service. Dolores was born on July 19, 1930 in Gobles, MI to Arthur and Agnes (Wagner) Schram. She is survived by her two children, Gail Brumfield and Terri Karns; three grandchildren, Michelle Wesselhof and Taylor and Rachel Karns; two great grandchildren, Mallory and Savannah Lee; as well as nieces and nephews. Dolores spent over 25 years entertaining elementary children in Michigan as well as many other states with VanDee Puppets. Also her love of gardening brought joy and amazement to family and all who visited her. Memorials may be directed to the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission.
