Passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at the age of 76. David was born in Saginaw, MI on August 15, 1941, the son of the late John and Frances (Allen) Windover. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He was employed by DMS Electric, Clarage Fan Company and WL Molding. He was a member of the American Legion, The North American Hunting Club and The Handyman's Club in Minnetonka, MN. He enjoyed motorcycles, golfing, fishing & hunting and birdwatching. He is survived by two sisters and one brother, Ruth (Max) Merrifield of Three Oaks, Mary (Robert) Gault of Battle Creek and William (Deb) Windover of Lawton; nine nieces and nephews; and fifteen great-nieces and great-nephews. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will take place in the spring of 2018 in Ft. Custer National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Diabetes Association, American Lung Association or American Cancer Society.
