Loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother went to be with her Lord on Monday, November 6, 2017. Age 98. Ann was born on February 2, 1919 in Groningen, The Netherlands, the daughter of the late Jurrien and Hendrikje (Kroeze) Kremer. She was a member of Milwood Christian Reformed Church, now Milwood Community Church. She worked for many years as a seamstress. She was married to Jacob Ipema, who preceded her in death on August 30, 1988. She is survived by her children, William (Louise) Ypema, Henny Stuursma and Ginny (Dave) Hoekstra; 10 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters. Friends may visit with the family from 1-2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 8th at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St., Kalamazoo, MI 49009. The service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral chapel, with Pastor Brian Seifert officiating. Following the service, friends are invited to join the family for a reception in the Langeland Reception Center. Private interment will take place in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park, South. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Park Village Pines.
